KC labeling requirements under the RADIO WAVES ACT
Under Article 58-2 (6) of the RADIO WAVES ACT ( 전파법 ), imported goods subject to KC Certification under the RADIO WAVES ACT shall have KC labeling if they are to be sold. Under Article 23 (2) of the RRA Notification, NOTIFICATION ON CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT OF BROADCASTING AND COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT, ETC. ( 방송통신기자재등의 적합성평가에 관한 고시 ), in the case of imported goods, KC labeling shall be done prior to customs clearance. So, it is recommended to consider the KC labeling from the stage of manufacture.
